First, can’t make a family Christmas due to car trouble (turns out to be simply moisture in gas tank, but I sure didn’t know that at the time). Next, hit post of carport and do nearly $2000 in damage to bumper. Finally, try to leave work to go to gym tonight and have a dead battery. $103 later, my car has a brand new battery. What on earth is going on here people???????????

I wonder if you knocked the battery cable loose when you hit the carport and then it wasn’t charging? It is a reach. Did you hit the same side that the battery was on? It could have just been old and needed replaced. I hope your luck turns around soon!

Honestly the original battery was still in the car, it’s a 2005, so I think it was just time. But….who knows……..the way my luck has been going lately little goblins snuck in and sucked the power out just to mess with me.
