  • Today I decided to rebel against my inability to keep a hold of an entire pair of gloves.  I wore one brown glove and one black glove.  I felt really stupid but I refuse to spend any more money on gloves.  I also have the same luck with sunglasses.  Every time I buy a somewhat decent pair of sunglasses I lose them within days, forcing me to wear my backup pair that were like $3 on clearance at Claires.
  • Hosted a baby shower today at work for my dear friend Linds.  There were no stupid baby games, no stupid balloons, just tons of delicious food and good company.  It was really nice, and LIndsay got a nice collection of books for her baby’s library!
  • Which also means, last night I baked 48 cupcakes, 4 of which were my dinner.
  • I have had a blatant theme in the counseling world this work: the absent father and the effect it has on children.  Dads, it you have children stay in their lives.  If you do not, I can pretty much guarantee they will have a myriad list of social, emotional, and mental problems as they progress through life fatherless.  It makes me sad.
  • And one final thought, why do some people feel they have to park backwards.  This bugs the crap out of me for some reason.
  • Oh, and I just cleaned my apartment pretty well and that makes me very happy!

Cracking up! Our neighbors back into their garage every single time they come home. Marc and I laugh about how much time they must save when they leave the house.

  2. Seriously, I lose all my sunglasses except two pair that are really junky and I hate. What’s up with that.
