I didn’t realize it had been so long since I have blogged. Funny, because it seems like all my fellow bloggers haven’t been blogging either, and I’ve been secretly cursing them under my breath - but it turns out I have done the same. I have actually been very busy- enjoying the season and spending time with friends. I tried to spend time with family this weekend - but had stupid car trouble and couldn’t go. I was very bummed. I knew I would be heading there Tuesday for about a week so it wasn’t the end of the world, but I definitely was sad about it.
I finally saw The Road. It was everything I hoped for and more.
Awards season is on the horizon. The Golden Globe Nominations are out - I really enjoy following who’s being nominated and winning awards. Fun. Fun. Fun.
My dear friend is moving into my apartment complex. Approximately a 15 second walk from my front door. I cannot explain how excited I am.
Had a massage & pedicure today at a spa (Christmas gift). It was fabulous. Especially the pedicure - 50 minutes - sugar scrub massage and hot rock massage on my feet… Please….. What could be better?
I am headed north tomorrow. Going to spend most of my time with my dear family, some with my dear friends, some helping my friend move, and some awaiting the arrival of my new niece. Please send happy thoughts to my dear sister Erin so that she has a speedy and easy delivery of her daughter, which will be happening sometime in the next week. I am just so excited that I will get to spend an entire week with the people I love the most.

I will need to find new lunchtime reading material albeit not as good of quality for the down times - perhaps a place with java chip or vanilla bean weight gain to help out with the figure.(it is so hard to maintain a husky one). Oh yeah, not complaining about the lack of endless chatter, but making sure the bloggers know they are being checked up on. Isn’t that the reason?
