I have had the strangest luck with my phone. So many things have gone wrong with it, (plus to be fair I haven’t treated it so well from time to time) - but no matter what I always end up with my phone, my good ol’ trusty phone in perfect working order. A few weeks ago I dropped my phone in the bathroom. Before you get any funny ideas about what I was doing, I fiddle through my phone while I am doing the painstaking and mundane task of drying my hair in the morning. Anyway, I dropped my phone, and soon after I realized it had a dead spot in it. Basically the entire 1/4 of the bottom of the touchscreen was unresponsive. Bummer. This really affected the use. I’m not getting a new phone was all I could think. So I reorganized all of my apps so that the ones I never use were on that row. And when I texted sideways, I would have to turn the phone back to normal to get the letter “n” to type. HUGE inconvenience. So after dealing with this for awhile I finally decided to make an appointment at the Apple store in hopes that they could fix it. I had done some research online and discovered this was a fairly common iPhone problem, and from what I could find I was probably going to have to leave my phone there to be fixed. And possibly pay $30 for a loaner phone. Ugghh… Right as I was leaving to go to my appointment, I grabbed my purse, my phone tumbled out onto the floor, I picked it up, and ran out the door. When I got to the Apple store I had a few minutes to kill so I of course began playing with my phone. It was fine. The current phone drop had “undeadened” the dead spot. Weird.
