My Two Percent

• I had a very productive day today.
• Got up at 9:00, got a good night’s sleep last night.
• Had coffee while making a pot of chili to have for lunches this week.
• Cleaned my home.  It is spotless.  I love it.
• Grocery shopped for the week.
• Dropped off recyclables (they were REALLY piling up!)
• Caught a matinee - “An Education”.  SUPERB acting.  I’ll be really surprised if Carey Mulligan doesn’t get an Academy Award for best actress.
• Did 5 loads of laundry.
• Made 2 shepherd’s pies.  (One to freeze, one to devour all week)
• Whew - I’m kind of exhausted now.  I have lots of food for the week, clean clothes to wear, and my place is spotless!   I am very excited to start the week this way.
• Now I’m gonna space out on the couch for awhile
• Oh yah I forgot to mention when I went to the movies, I was the youngest person there by about 30 years.  It reminded me of when I went to see Neil Diamond.  I made the mistake of sitting in the center of the back row. (Normally I sit on the end - a bathroom trip mid-movie is pretty much a sure thing) Which meant, when I had to get up to pee halfway through the movie a few people had to get up to let me out.  I thought they were going to kill me right there.  And then on the way back I went the other way, and I didn’t think these people were even going to let me through.  Seriously.  I stood there awkwardly while they moaned and groaned and begrudgingly finally let me through.  And then when the movie ended neither set of people on either side of me would get up to leave!  So I had to make them let me out.  Geez!  I couldn’t believe how RUDE these people were!  I always let people through - I realize it’s slightly inconvenient but come on!  Why are some people so RUDE!
