- I think my coffee grinder just broke. I put coffee beans in it and they didn’t really “grind”, they just sort of spun around and got angry, and a few of them chipped a bit. There is no way this is going to produce anything that resembles coffee….that means I have to run across the street to CVS and get crappy coffee for the morning because there is no way I’m going to the grocery store. Bummer.
- Daylight savings was today, and although I LOVED having an extra hour yesterday, as well as how light it was this morning, I loathe that it was getting dark on my way home from the gym and to make matters worse it’s COLD.
- I FINALLY got to see one of my favorite musicians Saturday night in Louisville: Conor Oberst. Also M. Ward played with him (And Jim James & Mike Mogis) as part of a Folk Supergroup. It was PHENOMINAL. I desperately wish they would book a show in Indianapolis but I know that is just simply too much to ask.
- I also saw the Avett Brothers Friday night (both shows in Louisville) - went on a mini-vacation of music and friends for the weekend. The Avett Brothers put on an AMAZING show. They will be here in town in February - I will definitely be checking that out. I love it when performers have such a presence on stage.
- Saw another Coen Brothers movie last night - I’m working my way through their collection. Barton Fink - definitely weird, I did like it but it was a little slow in parts. Loved the characters and the burning hotel at the end.
- Movie season is starting to pick up. Hopefully I will be going to see Men Who Stare at Goats this weekend. It looks interesting and funny.

I hear you about the coffee! I keep apologizing to Lindsay about the generic decaf I bought for work. It tastes like bark.

What a fun weekend. I’ll have to check out that music … Also maybe you should get the Cuisinart coffee pot that grinds beans also - it does make really good coffee.
