Food for Thought

I have nothing but a few random fleeting thoughts that come about from some early morning coffee and waking up entirely too early on a Saturday morning.  Thank god for coffee.  Really, thanks.
I once heard a comedian say something along the lines of “I like my coffee like I like my women - chopped up and in the freezer.”   HA!  Priceless.  Or wait maybe it was a t-shirt… Oh who cares, funny either way.

It appears as if though it’s going to rain all day.  This is good news.  Rain + coffee = happiness.

Independence is a good thing.  Even if you can’t seem to figure out how to hook up the cable or for some reason can’t get the new borrowed computer to work.  Very very empowering.  I feel very sorry for women (or anyone really for that matter) who were raised in a time (or place) where relying on someone else to be taken care of is the way of life.  This makes my stomach turn.  I know nothing personally other than a world where I am my own person capable of doing all things at any time, and for this I feel grateful.   Perhaps in another life I was a battered sheltered woman reliant on some dirtpig man trapped in a world of loneliness and bitter disappointment.  Who knows.  For some reason I feel lucky practically on a daily basis and there is certainly something out there that is giving me the knowledge to know to be grateful for the world I live in.  Again….thanks.

Time for a refill on coffee.
